In network. We will bill Aetna*** and United Healthcare directly. (no out of pocket!)
Plans can vary, so it is important to check on the specifics of your plan.
Many plans cover up to 6 consults for lactation. Telehealth may not be covered by your plan. Cost sharing may apply. Please check your plan for details of coverage.

***Check with your specific Aetna plan and ask them how many CODES they cover vs the number of VISITS.
Aetna is in the process of changing its coverage and has been less than transparent with its members.
Given that our visits are typically long (the first is usually 90 mins), we have previously used 2-3 codes per visit. However, Aetna is now altering its coverage to 6 codes instead of 6 visits, which will significantly impact your coverage.
Most of the changes are scheduled to be implemented in September, but some are already seeing a reduction in coverage.

Milk Street Lactation Support Center, LLC will provide you with a superbill suitable for you to submit to your insurance. The superbill (which will also serve as a payment receipt) will be coded appropriately to the level of service provided during the visit.
Payment can be made through my website/on your portal using a credit or debit card. We also accept payments from your HSA account. Reimbursement by insurance companies can vary, so it is important to check with your company to find out what coverage is included in your policy.
